Tidewater Women's & LGBT Primary Care Center is committed to meeting the special health care needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community with respect and compassion. We provide an array of health, referral and educational services, promote LGBT health equity and access to care, and develop effective partnerships with LGBT organizations, agencies and allies.

 

Dr. Peters has specialized in hormone therapy for over 20 years and is a active member in "The World Professional Association for Transgender Health."  He also believes the "informed consent" model of therapy is more inclusive and does not require a counselors letter or referral.  

 

Dr. Peters is a medical doctor that believes in holistic and functional treatments.  You are not "just a number or diagnosis" here.  You are a unique individual with individual needs.  We are available to you 24/7 for emergencies and questions.  We have weekend and evening hours.  Please call us, we are here for you!

 

Although we do not accept insurance, our prices are affordable for everyone.  At your first visit, you can expect to spend approximately one hour with our physician for only $200 (plus lab fees).  The lab will bill your lab fees directly to your insurance.  Most problem and follow up visits are $45.  Lab draws are $25.
